Hey guys, I'm b-a-a-a-ck! Does anyone know anything interesting going on in the world of science lately? Well I know I sure do! Now, behold, the largest volcano on Earth- hiding underwater!Tamu Massif, the largest volcano on Earth, is thought to be 145 million years old! The top is located about 6,500 feet below the surface of the Pacific Ocean, and the base of the volcano is believed to be in waters almost 4 miles deep. Until recently, Tamu Massif was thought to have been multiple volcanoes molded into one large one. However, that was proven to be false, and Geophysicist William Sager said that nobody would have paid attention if that were true.
